@cshapiro Craig Shapiro, the founder of Collaborative, has over a decade of experience ranging from working within a large public company to managing an early stage startup. He has a rare blend of technology know-how with proven business experience.
Having begun his career at Modem Media Inc. (a NASDAQ-listed digital marketing and strategy firm), he was exposed to many of the industry's innovations in interactive advertising, analytics, and web development. From Modem Media, Craig jumped into the startup world with Proteus Inc—a mobile application developer. There he helped pioneer several mobile and interactive television initiatives in the U.S., including the first multi-carrier live voting in Super Bowl XXXVI, ultimately leading to the successful sale of the business to Telitas AG. After Proteus, Craig joined Helio, a joint venture between SK Telecom and Earthlink. There he led content strategy and acquisition efforts leading up to the company's sale to Virgin Mobile USA. Most recently, Craig joined Ben Goldhirsh to help build and grow GOOD Worldwide LLC. Having inherited a traditional print media startup that was experiencing significant losses, he led the transformation into a profitable multi-media company with over three million unique visitors to its website and significant partnerships with companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, and Pepsi, among others.
