Joining Collaborative Fund

I am thrilled to share that I am joining the Collaborative Fund partnership alongside Craig, Lauren, Morgan, and the rest of the amazing Collaborative team.

If you had asked me ten years ago what I was passionate about, I would have said my calling is to help entrepreneurs build businesses that will change the world. And when I first met Craig at a coffee shop in Soho four years ago, I was struck that he shared these principles. I was then intrigued when he told me that he had named the firm “Collaborative Fund” because he wanted to build a firm with a purpose that endures beyond any single contributor.

While it is clear to me that Craig, Collaborative Fund, and I share the same values of putting others first, what has also stood out to me is the team’s curiosity and their unwavering focus on making the world better by investing in and supporting founders who want the same. Having backed the founders of Lyft, Blue Bottle, Kickstarter, Quora, Reddit and Sweetgreen, the Collaborative team clearly has a knack for finding new category-defining businesses and helping those founders achieve their vision. I cannot wait to roll up my sleeves and help.

Since this is very much an apprenticeship business, I’m grateful for the opportunity I had in the past four and a half years to learn the business from people I admire at Lerer Hippeau. Although I will miss both the LH team and the founders I met along the way, I look forward to finding new ways to collaborate in the future.

I will officially be starting my journey with Collaborative Fund in early February and will be exploring next-generation consumer marketplaces, direct-to-consumer brands, and businesses built on the blockchain. If you are a founder building something that reflects the Collaborative thesis and want to work with us, I would love to meet you.
